Hey mama, I'm Valerie. Fort Riley Birth and Lifestyle Photographer. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. And I know that may sound a little cliche. But when I was younger as a daughter of a single mother all my mom could afford was a disposable camera. And I remember the joy in my heart when she would take me to get the photos developed at our local Walgreens.
Being able to tell a families story whether I am apart of their birth space or they are getting their annual photos updated is a true gift. That is why I am so glad you're here. And I hope to have to opportunity to work with you.

Three years ago I had the honor of photographing my very first birth story. It changed my life forever. As a woman who has struggled with infertility for four years, birth photography became a healing experience for me. Many of the families I get to follow along this journey have similar stories to mine. Photographing your birth to me is so much more than just capturing a photo in time. It’s telling your story!
Every story is different and important, that is why I make it my priority to capture the whole experience for you. From the first positive pregnancy test to the day you birth your sweet baby into this world.
